The Centre is a non governmental, non partisan,non profit and neutral organisation centre based in Reykjavik,Iceland.It is a humanitarian organisation that works to assist the most deprived, most needy,the most deprived and the voiceless both home and abroad. It is legally registered in accordance with Icelandic law.We raise awareness and bring to focus the fact that various societal influences are often the biggest obstacles and barriers that prevent us from seeing the reality. We make it known that we have to free ourselves of these obstacles to avoid racism,discrimination,hatred,misunderstanding and prejudices. We oppose segregation and welcome integration and inclusion in the real sense of the word.We also keep track on government policies on immigration and refugees to be able to lobby,propose and implement necessary changes

International Projects

Mobility Project by focusing on youth and boosting their skills for future employability, raises participants' understanding of other cultures and countries, offering them the opportunity to build networks of international contacts, to actively participate in society and develop a sense of European citizenship and identity and notably enhances participants' foreign languages competences by interacting each-other in English
Working with youngsters facing different types of fewer opportunities such as long term unemployment, discrimination due to the ethnic and religious backgrounds, or are at risk of socio-economic marginalization and etc. Risk of radicalisation.
People Against Poverty
We channel our resources into projects that directly connect communities to communities; donor to recipient, person to person. We deliver help on the ground through local partnerships, networks and individuals connecting them with international projects that inspire us, have a gift for their work and a clear vision for what they wish to achieve, we help change lives by meeting basic needs: food, housing, education, shelter, giving people legitimacy and legal status. Our projects are designed to empower greater self-sufficiency, new hope and a more sustainable future
Macho is Respect for Women
Through education, awareness-raising, outreach, technical assistance, capacity building, and partnerships, White Ribbon's programming challenges negative, outdated concepts of manhood and inspires men to understand and embrace the incredible potential they have to be a part of positive change. We inspire changes in policy, practice and culture to address the root causes of gender-based violence.
