The main activities of the Charity fund “Galaxy” Prevention of commercial sexual exploitation of children For us, work on prevention of commercial sexual exploitation of children includes several directions: • public awareness of this problem; • prevention of commercial sexual exploitation of children; • comprehensive support for organizations, children and women experienced commercial sexual abuse; • methodological support of public organizations interested in developing work to prevent commercial sexual exploitation of children. Preparation for independent life of orphaned graduates proposes: • health awareness; • development of leadership skills and pro-active life position; • raising self-esteem and development of emotional intelligence; • supporting in the development social connections with peers and competent adults; • raising the competitiveness at the labor market; • development of financial planning skills among Since 2013, we have been successfully implementing a gender-specific program aimed at preparing for independent life of orphaned girls “A Solid Step to One’s Life” who study in professional lyceums and colleagues. Maintenance and development of the activities of the Youth Volunteer Movement “Do you know how? As you know…”

PI “Integration of the effective gender specific empowerment program targeted at female orphaned girls in to the daily work of governmental institutions in St. Petersburg”, funded by the State of the Netherlands, 01.09.2018 г. – 01.09.2021
Aim of the program: preparation for independent life of orphaned girls who study in professional lyceums and colleagues. The program includes 6 main thematic components: 1. Raising awareness of orphaned girls on how to protect their health and prevent risky behavior. 2. Development of leadership skills and pro-active life position among orphaned girls. 3. Raising self-esteem and development of emotional intelligence among orphaned girls. 4. Supporting orphaned girls in the development social connections with peers and competent adults. 5. Raising the competitiveness of orphaned girls at the labor market. 6. Development of financial planning skills among orphaned girls.
Meaningful and structural participation of CSOs in the Russian regions in effective implementation of social policy in the field of combating commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC). European Commission, 09.01.2018 г. – 09.01. 2022 г.
The overall objective of the project is to support the engagement of CSOs in 10 federal areas of the Russian Federation as partners of local authorities in effective implementation of social policy in the field of combating CSEC. Specific objectives of the project are the following: 1. to empower CSOs from the Russian Federation regions in the field of supporting local authorities in combating CSEC; 2. to promote implementation in the Russian Federation regions of best practices of cooperation of CSOs and governmental organizations in the field of combating CSEC; 3. to contribute to raising awareness among general population and authorities of the roles CSOs play in the field of combating commercial sexual exploitation of children. 1. Adapting the Prevention Programme to address the needs of young men, strengthening capacity in fundraising and communications, facilitating programmatic adoption by other institutions.
