Baltic Sea NGO Network, Denmark (formerly DANFØ) is a national network of Danish NGOs and institutions with the common goal to promote and improve conditions for developing civil society in the Baltic Sea Region. Baltic Sea NGO Network, Denmark is the national focal point in the regional network, Baltic Sea NGO Network. The regional network is governed by the Coordinating Committee (CC), and Baltic Sea NGO Network, Denmark, is a member of the committee. The regional network is planning implementation of an annual NGO Forum, which historically is linked to the establishment of Council of Baltic Sea States, CBSS. Baltic Sea NGO Forum is recognized by CBSS as a strategic partner, and the final document of the Forum is considered as civil society's contribution to the CBSS summits. Baltic Sea NGO Network, Denmark was established in 2001 under the name DANFØ following an international NGO conference in Copenhagen, the Copenhagen Initiative. The final document, The Copenhagen Declaration of the Copenhagen NGO initiative, is incorporated in the network's statutes. Since the EU enlargement, the network has focused its efforts on development of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region, EUSBSR, where it has tried to ensure NGOs in the region the best possible framework conditions for sustainable development of the civil society in the whole Baltic Sea Region.

Multikultura is a union of different institutions dealing with arts and education and ICT technology. Multikultura specializes in exploitation of eLearning, multimedia education technology applying such methods like internet platforms, training films, educational television, and video games. Our programmers and graphic designers produce computer games based on a professional software UNITY. We create three-dimensional and two-dimensional computer games in the interactive contents, such as visualizations and animations. It allows us to create applications for web browsers, personal computers, video game consoles and mobile devices such as phones, tablets. The documentary films produced have been awarded at different European film festivals and are now used by many schools in Europe as educational tools. MULTIKULTURA promotes equal opportunities of education & employment & combat marginalization of social groups, in accordance with the Erasmus+ the document Opening up Education of 25th September 2013. MULTIKULTURA pays attention to new technologies, able to guarantee equity in education, because open technologies allow All individuals to learn, Anywhere, Anytime, through Any device, with the support of Anyone. For example we produced the video games for children with learning difficulties: http://helpdeskinld.com/game/gameFinal/ AREAS OF SPECIFIC EXPERTISE: Since 1999 MULTIKULTURA is working as educational provider on different projects on Cooperative Learning in classes as well as in the international contexts, where partners explore methods that stimulate the co-operation through open, challenging and complex tasks, mainly exploring the method derived from cooperative learning developed by Elizabeth Cohen (Stanford University) and Dalton Plan. QUALITY SYSTEM USED: Annual evaluation, internal and external of projects as well as testing of functionality of produced e-Learning tools and educational networks in real environment. STAFF: Multikultura employs 25 staff members. The union consists of different institutions dealing with arts and education and ICT technology. Some of the staff members of MULTIKULTURA are also a teachers, such as Krystyna Chołoniewska (Creative writing at the Jagiellonian University), Krzysztof Ridan (Teacher of ICT technology – Film director), Wioletta Sośniak (Teacher of ICT technology), Marek Chołoniewski (Music professor at the Jagiellonian University), Michał Zabłocki (President of the Union of Polish Writers - Poet) - therefore the cooperation of Multikultura with adults group in art training activities is possible and easy to arrange. MULTIKULTURA is also in constant cooperation with always growing number of European cities, actively participating in the Euro network of CITIES IN INTERNET http://www.mwi.pl/. QUALITY SYSTEM USED: internal and external annual evaluation of projects as well as testing of functionality of produced e-Learning tools and educational networks in real environment. We disseminate our projects and methodologies through proactive engagement with the User Groups and stakeholders. Hringsjá was founded in 1987 by the Icelandic Center for people with disabilities (ÖBÍ), then as a Vocational Training center for adults with disabilities. Hringsjá´s function has evolved and grown since then. Hringsjá is now a school for adults who have themselves applied for studies, and also determined their need for an educational and vocational training in a supported and safe environment. The overall objective is empowerment through education and the enhancement of personal development. Students are both men and women, 18 years of age and older with diverse background and story in life. Their common goal at Hringsjá is to enter mainstream work, or enter a “regular” school after they finish their studies at Hringsjá. Statistics show that 70%-80% of those students that have graduated reached that goal, but all say that the quality of their life improved. Students have various backgrounds and have decided to reassess and strengthen their possibilities and position in society. Most students have health problems due to disease, accidents, trauma, psychiatric illness or lifestyle choices. Most have more than one diagnosis. Many have a history of difficulties during their previous school years. Hringsjá is a small school, with approximately 70 students attend the full training program at a time, the full program is 3 semesters. In addition approx. 400 students a year, attend shorter courses and consultation. Most of Hringsjá´s students receive their income from National Social Security, the majority only temporarily while studying at Hringsjá. The training program consists of courses in basic skills such as reading, writing and arithmetic as well as social studies and social skills, but main emphasis is on teaching and training in skills important for office and service work e.g. bookkeeping, Icelandic, English and the use of computers . Special focus is on a variety – and sometimes untraditional teaching methods and approaches. In addition; student´s also receive training in the area of various personal skills, with the guidance of a psychologist and social counsellor. Some students receive special education and/or further diagnosis of their situation, particularly ADD/ADHD or Dyslexia. Among special supports provided is Davis Dyslexia counselling, private coaching and an extensive network and teamwork with a variety of agencies and institutions. Educational and vocational counselling is provided as well as teaching and training in various job-seeking skills. A vocational counsellor gives a follow up guidance. Hringsjá aims at providing a safe, comfortable environment for education, vocational training and personal growth, for adults that have not had many victories in life. Hringsjá is a place where students redefine their skills, interest and self image. Students that graduate from Hringsjá usually speak of finally finishing something, having reached a goal; being winners and succeeding.
Since 1996, PERSPEKTIVY has provided living conditions for children with severe mental and physical impairments as close as possible to living conditions of children without disabilities, as well as undertakes normalization of surroundings where they live when become adults. We have the assistance program for supporting 75 children with the most severe physical and mental impairments in State Orphanage No. 4 for Disabled in Pavlovsk. Our experts together with volunteers work with our care recipients during the year. They teach children to walk, eat, and drink by themselves, as well as to get dressed and serve themselves. They bring meaning and interesting activities in our guys and girls' lives by organizing games, celebrations, trips, in line with providing additional care, attention, and development. We also support 195 families from Saint-Petersburg by helping them to live life to the full and create future for their children: the Day Care Center for children, the Day Occupation Center for teenagers and young people, and the Guest House in cooperation with experts and volunteers supporting families in crisis situations work under the program.
KSL Study Centre is a private, non-formal adult education institute. Our educational services are aimed for associations and NGO's. KSL's educational activities are courses, study circles, vocational further training and qualifications in arts and craft. KSL also provides consultation and coaching services. The study centre is working in the whole country together with civil society organisations. KSL is funded mainly by the Ministry of Education. Being a private adult education institute, KSL is owned by KSL Civic Association for Adult Learning, that has 17 member organisations, among them for instance LGBT rights association, sports- and theatre associations, trade unions and organisations of the Left party (youth, students, children). In addition to the 17 member organisations KSL has ca. 100 cooperation organisations, associations and NGOs.
Pand is first group that started to take art and culture as a part of NGO work in Finland. Pand is a open group for artists to give they way and they support for activism. Mane goal is nothing more then world peace and nuclear disarming just before that. This year our mane works are on solidarity and environmental work. We believe in ground work so people them selves starts to act.
Finland-Russia Society was founded and started its activities on 24.3.1993 (originally Finland-Soviet Union -Society, founded in 1944). Our main activities are: -to build cooperation between Finnish and Russian citizens and organisations -to develop cultural, environmental and economical relations between Finland and Russia -to provide consultation and services for individuals and for the needs of public sector and economy
NGO Media and environmental projects (MADPRO) acts as one of environmental NGOs in Lithuania working with environmental protection and related issues. Main activites and projects includes wastewater treatment sector, renewable energy sources, inovative interactive solutions for presenting information for public, production of video materials for TV and related media. MADPRO has close relations with all NGOs working in environmental sector in Lithuania and abroad. From the 2007 MADPRO has implemented different public awareness campaigns related to various environmental issues.
PSR’s mission is to raise awareness in the medical community on global ethical and social matters, and to promote safe livelihoods, equality and peace. The organization is non-partisan and independent of companies and any commercial entities that could endanger the professional integrity of physicians. PSR does not accept financial support from the medical or pharmaceutical industries. PSR is an affiliate of the International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (IPPNW) and a part of Health Action International (HAI). The central work of PSR consists of: development cooperation, peace promotion, and social responsibility in healthcare.

Active networking in Finland and abroad is the basis of our work. We influence policy makers and other key players with information gathered through our partners. -We provide training in areas for example the social service system, work requirement assessment and job carving -We implement development projects to create best practices -We provide students with disabilities with genuinely inclusive housing services in a regular student house residence -We award grants to children and youth with disabilities for their studies and hobbies. -We organize seminars and events bringing together actors from a wide variety of fields Vamlas is a non-governmental organization. We work mostly in national networks, but we have worked internationally too. We are currently looking to strengthen our international co-operation.
