Riga German Cultural Society (Rigaer Deutscher Kulturverein- RDKV) was founded in 1988. Area of operation: Riga and regions of Latvia Its main purpose is to promote the integration of society; understanding, cooperation and friendship with all nationalities in Latvia; cooperation with other German associations in Latvia; study of German-Baltic cultural heritage in the field of culture and art; to promote the exchange of members of the Society, especially young people, with German and non-German representatives in the field of culture; to organize German language, cultural and art classes; to organize the Association's Song Ensemble concerts, especially charity concerts; to organize cultural events, recreation evenings, events to celebrate historical dates and events. For the past ten years, the Society has been specializing in youth integration / education / patriotism / personality development projects. Cooperation partners, supporters: RDKV has actively implemented various projects with co-financing from the Ministry of Culture, the Integration Secretariat, various foreign foundations and embassies. The Society is made up of activists and enthusiasts of integration, pedagogical and minority cooperation, and active organizers and participants of Latvian minority events. The vocal ensemble Morgenrot is active in the society.
We are one of the most experienced social organisations in Lithuania. We started our work in 1996 and the mission of our strong team of professionals is to enlighten and inform the society through gender equality questions, form gender politics and propagate its development in Lithuania. Since 2012 we are working as a Specialized Assistance Center providing support for victims of domestic violence in Lithuania, we also administrate Vilnius department of 24/7 Women helpline (Pagalbos moterims linija). Our Vision: Not a single person can be discriminated because of their gender. Our goals: We aim for gender equality in Lithuania We ameliorate women position in public and private life We improve the environment of equal gender relations We cooperate closely with other non-governmental organisations, state-owned institutions and organisations. We propagate gender equal opportunities in all life aspects and aim to ensure that there would be adequate attention in all political, juridical and social reforms, programmes of development. We carry out programmes, aimed at demolishing violence against women, and block the way for female trafficking, coordinate family and work obligation, encourage female enterprise, female and male equal opportunities. We organise enlightening, society informing campaigns. We provide women with free juridical consultations. In the National Equality and Diversity Forum we represent discrimination due to gender base. We are European Lobbying Organisation‘s, Women and Men Equal Opportunities‘ Commission Lithuanian women's association, Nacional network against poverty members and we lead the coalition „No to Violence! “. We have more than 20 years of experience implementing various projects with national, EU funding, funding from Nordic Council of Ministers, U.S. embassy and other donors.
The Environmental Center for Administration and Technology (ECAT-Lithuania) is the leading organization in Lithuania specializing in sustainable development policies at local and regional level, linking this work to enforcement of EU requirements and the implementation of sustainable development principles and established good practice. ECATs mission is to support, promote and strengthen the sustainable environmental activities in municipalities and local communities by providing a wide range of services. These include consultations, organizing events and international conferences, national and local seminars, mixed stakeholder meetings, training, campaigns, project development and management services. Our experts are experienced in climate change, sustainable urban mobility, air quality, waste and water management as well as sustainable consumption fields. ECAT has more than 20 years of experience working in national and international projects.
Estonian Wildlife Center was founded 5.08.2017 Estonian Wildlife Center operates as an umbrella organization for the network of people helping wild animals, organizes information exchange, represents a common interest, concludes contracts and coordinates cooperation with other organizations and authorities. It is the largest and best known wildlife assistance organization in Estonia. Thousands of people in need come to us every year and we have a nationwide network of shelter homes. Our mission is to help wild animals that are disturbed by human activity in the urban environment or in the wild (rescuing, curing, rehabilitating, etc.) and releasing them the natural environment. We rely on scientific knowledge, veterinarians and experts to assist wild animals in need or injured. We organize trainings and seminars, hold lectures and trainings for children and educational institutions. We initiate / commission studies and analyzes. We collect data on the location of wild animals, causes of injuries, diseases, treatments, etc., and participate in relevant research programs. Urban platform "Agriculture club" is an art-community in Petrozavodsk, Karelia, that merges art-cluster, civil activists and citizens together. Once designed to be an art-space, the place turned into a point of attraction of active and non-indifferent сitizens. The development directions are diverse, although one common thing is that it is driven by a grassroot initiative. Many projects emerged as a suggestion of citizens with active social position who came to the art-space with an idea and developed it into a project with the help of volunteers. Mission of the club: to preserve an ability to think, comprehend and analyze in people, to give them the space for self-development and sane criticism, to maintain the connection to art, to teach empathy and compassion. All members of the club's team are volunteers. NGO Agriculture club exists with a help of citizens' endowments and grants. Organization is independent, it is not connected to any of political or religious organizations. NGO believes in freedom of speech and puts it among top of its values. Independence allows to realize projects that are connected to freedom of speech and human rights' protection in Russia. Most of the events and projects are interactive and allow for the guest to be heard. A voice of an individual is very important for the team of the club. Daily activities, concerts, seminars, lectures and even parties are not segregated on the basis of age. People of all generations feel comfortable is a cosy and friendly environment. Agriculture club is always open to new ideas and it fosters urban projects.
Centre for Visual and Performing Arts “ART Corporation” is a unique organization which is devoted to the realization of the major cinematographic, theatrical, exhibition and educational projects. We cooperate with cultural organizations all around the world. This cooperation makes it possible not only to show innovative performances and films in Minsk but also hold Q&A sessions with their creators and organize master classes of the best filmmakers and theatre professionals. The main objectives of the Institution: development and strengthening international relations and linkages in the fields of culture and arts; initiation and coordination of international and local programs, projects and activities in the fields of culture and arts; organization and creation international theatrical and cinema festivals by forming high cultural status of theatre and cinematography in Belarus and involving young talents into the industry.
